Sylvie has been involved in the science of skin care for many years in her native France, where she earned her Ph.D. She is a member of the Society of Investigative Dermatology and the Society of Dermatology Skin Care Specialists. As a researcher at Boston University and the University of Miami, Sylvie has investigated the role of hormones in the aging of the skin. In addition to her academic credentials, She has been a consultant for major cosmetics firms.
